Asheville Pool and Patio, The Pool Place and Carolina Solar Structures = Three companies = I first contacted Asheville Pool and Patio by phone from their advert in the Yellow Pages and spoke with a "Margie". I was invited to their "shop" and received Fort Wayne's Brochure and at that location I was shown their in-ground pool constructed with a vinyl liner. (In California we built with plaster mostly- in NC they use vinyl I was told) My Hydrotherapy Unit - NOTE: (Original letter to Fort Wayne about pool companies involved was noted, archived and filed for authenticity, we had discussed the problems over the phone and they wanted to see the photographs- I will complete entire chronology.) I will write the reality/chronology of events that occurred when free to do so and all will be filed with all Agencies. There is a new owner of one of the companies involved- he has been told stories and other information has been omitted from him (exactly all what, I am unsure-but he does not know what really happened to me and what all transpired through the years). Anyway, he tried to call me, I tried to call him back and the previous owner would not let me speak with him, she never had the integrity or guts to let him know I even attempted to communicate with him. He thought I was ditching him, I was not - once again I was being played and there was deceit. He says he did not own the company at the time of negotiations of my physical therapy unit that was designed under a medical prescription from my doctor for my disease. Asheville Pool and Patio says they are not to blame because at the time of me handing over my money to start construction, the contract was actually signed with a company called "The Pool Place". I inquired about the two names as I had always been under the impression I was dealing with Asheville Pool and Patio. I was told this was for accounting convenience; Margie handles the materials and supplies and Kenny & Richie handles the building (acting like women are not going to go out there and use a back hoe and dig). The Pool Place blames Asheville Pool and Patio and Carolina Solar Structures, Asheville Pool and Patio blames The Pool Place and The Pool Place blames Carolina Solar Structures (which is owned by Bob Thompson) whom blames the sub contractor they hired from Louisiana. Every one passes the fault to some one else, in the mean time my physical therapy unit is falling apart and I am without my therapy. No one is holding up to their guarantees or warrantees as each company claims they are not responsible - The new owner of Asheville Pool and Patio has not offered any remedy, just threatened me to have his attorney send me a letter because I had this note up for Fort Wayne and Consumer affairs on a private link and some how Google is reading it now and people can see it and he says it hurts his business and he has children to feed. Fort Wayne knows about this and is freaked out this happened to me. Fort Wayne is not at blame. I wait and wait for the day for me to get back in my physical therapy unit. This has been going on for 9 years now. They all have my money and I have a structure and pool that is falling apart that is not able to be used that I spent over $100,000.00 on and it is still not completed or fixed. This is outrageous that companies advertise and represent a specific image/product - it is just marketing techniques for money. I am leaving the photographs up as it takes too long to reload them. There will be text added at a later time when I am able to write. This page is for evidence of damage and quality of construction methods used for ease of distribution of photographs as all companies/agencies are now computer oriented.
